As it is such a vast country where do you start to decide where to go? Being the 70th anniversary of both Indian Independence and Partition the Echoes of the Empire Tour offered us the chance to see a lot of the country, albeit with a great deal of domestic travelling, and to put what we saw into a historical context.

Wow! Love that graphic you have added of the map and route. I'm really relieved too that you managed 19 days in India without Dehli belly x
ReplyDeleteThis was our second trip to India with Saga and once again was the best trip even all the domestic travel made it worthwhile and we covered a vast area and saw many different places which couldnt have been achieved on one trip without the internal travel. An amazing country, would love to now visit some of the southern parts.

ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to see your blog. The presentation is lovely with the pictures and details of the places we traveled to explore the wealth of My lovely India. Your words are like pearls string together to create a beautiful Necklace. Wish to travel again to explore the hidden gems of my country . Best Wishes .. Rudy
